My Story

Angela Winfield was born and raised in Newburgh, New York where she attended public schools. When she was 4 years old, she was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, cataracts, glaucoma and uveitis. During her childhood, she underwent numerous eye surgeries to correct and control her vision loss. However, when she was 10, Angela was declared legally blind. Throughout the rest of Angela’s primary and secondary education, her vision slowly deteriorated. Nevertheless, Angela persevered. She excelled in her academic studies, taking all honors and advanced placement classes. Angela was inducted into both the National Honors Society and the National Foreign Language Honors Society.

After graduating from high school, Angela attended Barnard College of Columbia University in New York City. During her sophomore year, Angela suffered from a flair up with her uveitis and permanently lost all use of her vision. Not only did Angela persevere, she was further impelled to succeed. She continued with her studies at Barnard and even studied abroad in London at Queen Mary College for a semester. She graduated with her class and earned her bachelor’s with a combined major in Political Science and Human Rights and a minor in Religion.

Angela then attended Cornell Law School. This is where Angela discovered her love of advocacy. She actively participated in moot court competitions in two of which she placed as a quarter finalist and semi finalist. She served as a law intern at Cornell Legal Aide where she represented clients in employment, social security and criminal matters. She also clerked for an acting New York Supreme Court judge. Angela graduated from Cornell with a Juris Doctorate and a concentration in advocacy.

Angela practices law at a top 250 law firm. In addition, she has gone on to become a real estate investor and serves on the board of directors for multiple not-for-profit corporations.

After realizing the impact of her success on others, Angela started spreading her message and sharing her system for success with others. Her mission is to motivate, educate and inspire people to reach their highest potential. She wants to help people create lives they love living so that they can contribute to the collective good in the world.
